her characters. Trout Recipe is a delight to read. Humor

and bold expression bounce off the pages with regularity.

The whimsical antics and fun loving repartee of Claire Fontaine

and Gwen Buxton prove life in the old west, while rough and

unpredictable, is not all that bad. Taking place smack dab in

a time where women favoring women is out of the question,

the endearing dynamics of these two ladies allow the reader to

recognize the simplicity of an impassioned relationship. If there

was ever a lesbian love story true to heart, this is it. Let's look
